Scrappy Little Library

Little Free Libraries have become a charming fixture around Seattle. They're a perfect way to connect with community and promote a love of reading to people of all ages. We are excited to offer a Little Free Library construction class - with a Seattle ReCreative twist! Using scrap wood from Ballard ReUse and a variety of recycled materials from ReCreative, you will build your very own Scrappy Little Library! During this two-session class, you will improve your tool proficiency and construction skills while creating a library that is unique and environmentally conscious. Focus will be on the construction of the library with the option of decorating your library if time permits. (Note: the image shown is an example of a scrappy library. Your library may not look exactly like this.)
